Valentine's Day

On the day of love we were unable to attend church to worship and love the one that loves us the most, God. The family (not me, luckily) were still getting over the stomach bug. I am a strong believer that we do not leave the house for 24 hours until the virus is gone because I had seen it spread so fast working at a preschool and in childcare at church. I don't want to be the cause of spreading it. We spent the morning giving the kids their tiny tokens of love from us and watching the Love Movie from Veggie Tales. For lunch, Adam cooked heart shaped grilled cheese sandwiches. By dinner time Adam and the kids had been "bug free" for 24 hours so we were able to go to Red Robin for dinner. It was a lovely day. I do love my family so much.

10 in. of snow....say what?

Wow, two big snow storms for one winter. This time we got around 10 in. of snow.

A week later, the "S" word is in the forecast again. The first stuff hasn't melt yet. We can't get anymore snow. Sure enough we got around 4-5in. Who is counting anymore?

Adam built this snow slide for the kids. They had a blast going down it.

In between the two snow storms I did manage to take the kids to the children's museum.
